    Enrichment Programs

    Classes

Enrichment is a way to help children develop their skills through stimulating activities. Our program partners with local businesses to enrichment classes within our community. We participate in these enrichment classes 2-3 times throughout the year. Music classes, gymnastics classes, karate, soccer, or nature classes offer children the opportunity to grow in all areas of development. Enrichment classes are an extra charge and are paid for by parents. Enrollment in enrichment classes is required as part of our program.

    Field Trips

Our program also uses community resources to extend learning experiences beyond the classroom. We may visit the local public library to participate in read-alouds. We borrow books from the library regularly to incorporate into our curriculum and read in our preschool program. We visit the local farms annually to see the farm animals and learn from the interactive agricultural exhibits. We take field trips in the community and visit local parks, zoos, and museums. We also participate in enrichment classes offered in the community such as soccer, music or gymnastics classes. The classes and exhibits are identified through online community networks and each year new classes and exhibits are identified.
